Since 2009, Alba Hostel Glasgow has provided global travellers a comfortable stopping point in Glasgow. Set within a prestigious Victorian building with high ceilings, spacious rooms, wooden panelling and original fireplaces, AHG is a boutique hostel that offers a homely stay.

We operate a volunteer programme all year round. The programme includes housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance and repairs, receptionist and social media marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience and make friends from travellers around the world. But it is very hard work, time pressured and all the time involves being positive and friendly to visitors.
